22nd COTER Commission meeting and conference
Cluj-Napoca, Romania – 25th – 26th March 2019
At the 22nd COTER Commission meeting and conference on “Supporting and developing an efficient cohesion policy which starts with the EUs local and regional authorities” members will be invited to discuss and adopt the following opinion:
- Macro-regional strategies, by rapporteur Dainis TURLAIS (LV/ALDE)
and hold an exchange of views on the following opinions:
- Recommendations for regional development strategies, by Adam STRUZIK (PL/EPP)
- Better Communication for Cohesion Policy, by Rapporteur Adrian Ovidiu TEBAN (RO/EPP)
Members will also have the opportunity to hear a presentation on the ESPON Territorial Reference project.
The COTER conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the implementation and delivery of the 2014-2020 cohesion policy programmes, the preparation for the new cohesion policy post-2020, as well as best practices for better communicating the achievements of cohesion policy.
